Atlanta & the Southeast
A Southeast-Based Editor with National Network Credits
I'm based in the Southeast — Charlotte is home base, Atlanta is within regular reach. Most of my work is remote, but I'm on the ground in Atlanta for productions that want that, without the relocation conversation that comes with hiring from New York or LA.
Georgia's tax incentives pulled a lot of production south, and Atlanta's market has grown to match. The conversations I have about Atlanta work are the same ones I'd have anywhere else: what network, what format, what's the timeline. Geography stopped being the first question a while ago.
My background spans Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, A&E, HBO Max, ESPN, Peacock, and TNT — documentary, docuseries, narrative film, and sports. The sports documentary work feels particularly at home here. Dominique Belongs to Us (ESPN) — a character documentary on Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins — is one of those credits that just makes sense in an Atlanta context. I'm currently Co-Executive Producer / Editor on The Gotti Files (A&E, 2027), an eight-episode docuseries produced by Propagate Content and Lady Moon Entertainment, showrun by Rory Karpf.

Editorial Approach
Southeast Based · National Level
Being Southeast-based is not a limitation — it's a positioning. I work at the same level as editors based in Los Angeles or New York, with the same network credits and the same craft standard. The difference is that I'm within reach of Atlanta shoots, available for on-location work in Georgia, and not charging a relocation premium to get there.
Atlanta's production market has grown into something real. The gap between a Southeast editor and a network editor has closed. The right question isn't where the editor is based — it's whether their work holds up at the level you need.
Common Questions
Do you work on Atlanta-based productions?
Regularly. Charlotte is home base — Atlanta is close enough that on-location availability isn't a negotiation. I'm Emmy-nominated, an ACE Affiliate and BFE member, with current docuseries work on The Gotti Files for A&E (Propagate Content / Lady Moon Entertainment, showrun by Rory Karpf) and feature film credits including Grace Point, which premiered at SBIFF 2023 starring Andrew McCarthy and John Owen Lowe.
What kinds of documentary work have you edited in the Southeast?
My documentary and docuseries credits run across true crime, sports, and character-driven long-form. Currently Co-Executive Producer / Editor on The Gotti Files (A&E, 8 episodes, 2027). Other credits include Dominique Belongs to Us (ESPN — a character doc about Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins), Shaq Life (TNT/HBO Max), and Joe Montana: Cool Under Pressure (Peacock/NFL Films). On the development side, my sizzle reel work helped greenlight Soul Power: The Legend of the ABA (Amazon Prime Video, 2026 — exec-produced by Dr. J Julius Erving and Common).
You're Southeast-based — does that mean your streaming credits are local projects?
No — the credits are the same as they'd be for any editor based in New York or Los Angeles. Coach Snoop on Netflix. All or Nothing: The Michigan Wolverines on Amazon Prime. Shaq Life on HBO Max. Dominique Belongs to Us on ESPN. Currently Co-Executive Producer / Editor on The Gotti Files for A&E. Development sizzle work helped greenlight Soul Power: The Legend of the ABA at Amazon Prime Video. Where I'm based is a logistics question, not a credits question.
Are you available on location in Georgia?
Yes. Charlotte to Atlanta is a manageable drive — on-location availability in Georgia is real, not aspirational. I work remotely most of the time, but I'm comfortable in edit bays and on set in Atlanta for productions that want that presence. I received a Sports Emmy nomination in 2018 for UFC 25 Years in Short, so I've been doing this at the network level for a while.
What's the best way to get in touch about a project?
Email is best. Send a brief description of what you're working on — format, length, where you are in production, and your timeline. I'll get back to you within one business day.
Atlanta production.
Network-level editing.
If you're producing in Atlanta or anywhere in the Southeast and need an editor with proven streaming and network credits — not just local availability — I'd like to hear about it. Send a brief description of what you're working on: format, length, where you are in production, and your timeline.
